Composing Church Services in a Post-Evangelical Context
A discussion about reimagining what church can look like beyond the familiar evangelical model
Wednesday, Oct 14 • 12PM ET / 9AM PT
Based on Becky Ykima’s book, Composing Church Considerations for the Modern Creative Leader and followed by an optional FREE 3-week cohort
Much care goes into how we curate the spaces and practices of worship, especially for those of us reimagining what church can look like beyond the familiar evangelical model. As we discern what to carry forward and what to leave behind, it’s worth considering how our values and theology shape what we create. Composing Church Considerations for the Modern Creative Leader was released on June 14, 2026, in partnership with Punchline Publishers.
Join author Becky Ykema (South Bend City Church) and Matt Gonzalez (Restore Austin) for a conversation about intentionally composing PEC worship environments. Becky’s book will serve as the foundation for a free, three-week cohort exploring the themes that arise when composing church services. Whether you’re a volunteer or staff, pastor, music leader, or technical leader, this webinar is for you!
Hosted by Keri Ladouceur, Co-founder of PEC
